Head Instructor – Dan Willersdorf

I started Highlining in 2017 and went on to perform at many festivals over Australia with my company Oasis Performance Company, as well as teaching slacklining on TV twice.

In 2019 I was the founding Secretary of the Australian Slacklining Association created to champion for access for all Australian Slackliners.

In 2020 I started the first 10 week course for highlining and since then have had the pleasure of teaching many students.

I am a level 2 Slackline Instructor with Slackline Australia.
I also hold a Certificate 3 in Mine Rescue and Emergency Response from when I used to be part of a mine rescue team that was trained in Vertical Rope Rescue in the very challenging environment of underground mine sites.

As part of my work with ASA I created a podcast about access in slacklining.

Guest Instructors – various highlining crushers

I get my mates to drop in on some of the courses and give a hand and some inspiration. You may see them on some of the videos of previous courses. “Crushers” is a word used to describe someone very good at highlining.
